It’s been a hectic few weeks at Medsafe Consultancy with first aid training and we’ve been meaning to post an update for a while. As well as courses in Antrim, we’ve had a fair bit of travelling to deliver courses to clients from Omagh to Coleraine.
Along with standard First Aid at Work training courses and Paediatric First Aid training courses we’ve also delivered an introduction to First Aid for a local Mum’s & tots group and had the pleasure (and fun) of helping get 12 Beavers through their Stage 2 First Aid Badge.
As well as that we’ve also been updating our own skills and we can now offer training in catastrophic bleeds, with use of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings. This course ‘bolt-on’ is ideal for high risk industries, such as construction and manufacturing and can be included on any course at your request.
When doing courses I always ask “What first aid situation are you most concerned about dealing with?” and get a variety of responses. There’s a quick poll for you below to choose which one you would worry most about dealing with. Once the poll is closed we’ll publish guidance on the vote winner (if the poll is not displaying below then use the YOP poll archive link in the menu above).
